Ten Days!!!

I have no idea what happened to December. It’s been a jumble of work, travel, and illness. I can’t believe that in ten days, I’ll be leaving for Sydney.
So much to do…. I’m barely prepared. One of the things I know is that a long trip goes MUCH better if you pack well in advance. So my plan is to spend today, tomorrow, and Tuesday packing for the trip. I won’t be completely packed by Tuesday afternoon as I’ll need to use some of the clothes and electronics for work this week, but I will be down to one set of clothes to take to the dry cleaners on Thursday and pick up Friday.
The Sydney part of the trip is coming into sharper focus after having dinner with my cousin Nick the other night. He spent nearly two weeks in Sydney in 2000 going to the Olympics, and he knows what I like and don’t like since we travel a lot together. I’ll make another post about Sydney a little later.
