A Two-Part Photo Contest

As has been pointed out to me by a good friend of mine, none of the photos in my blog header have anything to do with Australia. I thought I had acknowledged that by putting the “insert photo here” in the center. Oh, well…
But the thought occured to me that this is a good excuse to run two contests. Enter both contests by responding to this post.
- Contest 1: Successfully identify the four pictures in the current header. City and photo subject.
- Contest 2: Link to (EDITED 4/10pm: up to three) good Australia-related public domain photos so I can use them to replace the header, or if you have a blog and your own original photos, link to your photo and let me use it royalty-free for the rest of 2007.
The prize for Contest #2 will be a $25 Amazon or Starbucks gift cert for each of the two best entries, and a blog entry summarizing all legitimate entries to Contest #2. Contest #2 will run for a while depending on the level of response; at least until May 1, and I will give a week’s notice before it ends.
Contest #1 is primarily for fun. But I’ll figure out something which may or may not have monetary value depending on where that person lives and if I know them “in real life.”
EDITED 4/10pm: Jess (comment 1) pointed out something… I’m looking for specific photos, maybe two or three per contest entrant. Feel free to work through public domain photo sites and pick out what you think are the best photos forwhat I’m trying to accomplish here.

How many times can we enter Contest #2?
Jess - I was thing more of links to a specific photo or two or three than to an entire public domain library. Why don’t you pick you two or three of those photos which you think would be excellent for this site.
