Yes, you read that correctly. I am rated a whopping 2,957,583rd on Technorati. Technorati is a website which measures how many people link to your web site. This blog is new, it has no significant links from the outside world. So it is one of almost three million sites being tracked by Technorati. Now, a fair number of these sites are “splogs” or blogs set up to spam people who show up at them. Still, it’s fair to say that I’m a long way away from dominating the australia vacation blogosphere.
You can help start my domination by adding this site to your personal Technorati favorites.
Then there is John Chow.
John is an evil genius. When I read John’s writing, I have the voice of Peter Lorre in my head. From what I can figure out, John has been around the Internet for a while - he’s the creator of The Tech Zone and appears to have had his finger in a bunch of things. And for about sixteen months, he’s had his own blog. And he’s making good money off of it - one month of John’s blog income would pay for my entire vacation.
Here’s an example of how he is an evil genius: he got me to write about him. This is a blog about my Australia vacation, why am I writing about some guy in Vancouver? Because John will like me if I do, and he’ll give me a nice big fat link to this website. And you’ll read about my vacation, and hopefully you’ll stick around and participate. I get readers, and John gets another notch towards Technorati domination. So far, over 500 bloggers have promoted their sites by adding this simple quote:
John Chow dot Com is blog that helps you make money online. It’s a great read and he’ll link to you if you review his blog.
John’s site is actually a lot of fun. He does not take himself too seriously, and he has a ton of good ideas about blogging. Plus, he eats some cool Asian food, and he lives in Vancouver: a city I really enjoy visiting. I don’t particularly care for his paid reviews of other web sites, however.
I have tried about several dozen blogs from this process, and have subscribed to RSS feeds from several interesting sites. If you came from John’s blog, please do me a favor and say hello in the comments. And then stick around for a while.

I like the blog, pretty good info here.
I saw your review on John Chow’s site today and wanted to know if you would be interested in a “batch” exchange. Just a link exchange in a post. Please email me if you are interested.
Welcome, everybody!
